Dons Football Camps - Learn from the best! Learn football fundamentals from some of the best coaches in the state. The Dons coaching staff has won 12 CIF Titles and 3 State Championship by teaching the fundamentals of football for sound play and safety. Head Coach Sean Doyle, Defensive Coordinator John Montali, and Offensive Coordinator Ebere Winston will all run these camps with assistance from current Cathedral Catholic Dons varsity football players. These are NON-contact camps. Campers will develop their football skills and play football.

The 6th - 8th grade camps will teach more advanced skills per position.

The morning camp will be for 1st - 5th graders and the afternoon camp will be 6th - 8th graders.

Dons Flag Football Camp for Girls // With flag football now CIF sport in the high schools, Girls Flag Football will become one of the fastest growing sports in the state. During Flag Football Camp, girls will have fun reviewing the concepts, game play, and strategies of one of the fastest growing sports in the country. Girls will review the basics of route running, pass catching, throwing, flag pulling and other basics.

The program is designed so your kids will get immersed in the language, helping them to start learning or enriching their Spanish skills. Throughout the camp, the campers will be encouraged to speak in Spanish to make the most out of the experience. Your children will participate in many different activities such as games, singing, outdoor engagements, arts and crafts, and trying different foods from different Spanish speaking countries!

This camp is aimed at fifth graders, sixth graders, seventh graders, and rising 8th graders.

There are two options to select from for this camp:

Over the course of the week, we will be creating fun arts and crafts projects to help campers foster their creativity skills and love of art. Campers will also be developing their problem-solving and teamwork skills while participating in collaborative outdoor arts and crafts activities. By the end of each day, campers will have their own craft creation to bring home as a keepsake. This camp is for rising first graders, second graders, third graders, and fourth graders.

A quality health, wellness, and physical education program supports the physical, intellectual and social-emotional development of students while having fun and meeting new people. When students maintain an adequate level of physical fitness and make healthy choices, the conditions and opportunities for learning increase. For these reasons, health, wellness, and physical education plays an integral role in a comprehensive educational program. This camp will include a rotating schedule of all your favorite games! From kickball, 4 square, tag, hula hoop tag, volleyball, spike ball, hide and seek, dodgeball, cornhole, relay races, bocce ball, hopscotch, capture the flag and so much more! The wide spectrum of sports and recreation activities provide campers with a unique opportunity for both skill and social development. Our goal is to provide a positive, caring and fun environment for campers to develop a lifetime of sportsmanship and a healthy physically active lifestyle. There will be something for everyone. This is a camp you won’t want to miss.

CCHS girls soccer camps provide players a rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer techniques, skills, and tactics. Players will be challenged at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment. Grades: rising 5-8th graders.

Equipment: cleats, running shoes, shin guards, a water bottle, a snack and a swimsuit/towel.

Girls soccer camp is offered across two different weeks. Families can select from the below dates.

Location: Robotics Room and Pool

This program is an innovative underwater robotics camp that equips campers with the resources they need to build an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV) that can perform designated tasks. The camp will introduce young students to the basics of problem solving while incorporating concepts like buoyancy, electronics, and group collaboration. Additionally campers will gain hands on experience with skills using tools, soldering, and water proofing. The camp concludes with a day of playing with the ROV in the water. This camp is aimed at campers from 3rd through 8th grades.

If you have already attended this camp, you can complete it again with the opportunity to make a customized ROV.

For young authors (third through fifth graders): Throughout the week, campers will embark on a journey of imagination and self-expression as they engage in a variety of interactive activities, including collaborative writing exercises and outside exploration time. By the end of the camp, each student will proudly showcase their own original short story and comic strip, demonstrating their growth as young authors. This camp is the perfect opportunity for aspiring writers to explore their creativity, build confidence, and have a blast in a supportive and encouraging environment. No prior experience is needed, just a love for storytelling and a desire to unleash one’s imagination!

For middle school authors (sixth through eighth graders): This interactive camp is designed for young writers and artists who are eager to unleash their creativity and explore the world of storytelling. Through collaborative workshops, campers will dive into the art of crafting captivating short stories and dynamic comic strips, all while getting helpful feedback in a supportive community. They will learn essential storytelling techniques, develop well-rounded characters, create vivid settings, and master the art of plot development. With guidance from an experienced English teacher, campers will bring their stories to life through illustrations and dialogue, culminating in a showcase of their unique creations. Join us for a fun camp where imagination and self-expression thrive, empowering young authors to become masters of their own narratives. Nothing is better than enjoying the California summer sunshine while competing and learning all about Track and Field! Join UCLA Track and Field Heptathlete and High Jumper alumni, Allie Eppers this summer to learn all about Track and Field! Come with or without any experience and be ready to train, explore, learn and most importantly, have fun! Events we will cover: Long Jump High Jump Hurdles Relay Races Sprints Mid/long distance running Shot put Strength and speed training. This camp is aimed at rising first graders, second graders, third graders, fourth graders, fifth graders, sixth graders, seventh graders, and rising 8th graders.

Ceramics camp is a fun introduction to ceramic hand building styles, pinch, coil, and slab. Works created during camp will be glazed using nontoxic, food safe glazes and fired in the kiln. Work will be available for pickup at CCHS after camp ends!

Monday, July 15th – Friday, July 19th

Location: Pool 

Dons Aquatic Adventure is a week long camp from 8:30 AM-12PM July 15-19th where campers will improve their swimming skills, learn pool safety, grow closer with other campers through pool games and strengthen their relationship with fellow campers. Each day will be balanced between crucial swimming skills such as learning strokes, learning how to dive, and improving on campers’ basic strokes, and pool games where these skills are then applied. At our camp, not only will campers grow closer through these various activities, but will also finish out each day with a sweet treat. Please note that campers will tested with a swim test on the first day of camp that includes basic water treading skills and ability to participate in the camp sufficiently.

This camp is led by two Cathedral Catholic seniors who are certified Coronado life guards. Proceeds from this camp will go toward the non-profit group, Black Star Polo.

Campers MUST be proficient swimmers in order to attend this camp. 

This camp is open to rising fourth graders through rising sixth graders.

Join the Back to Basics camp for an exciting blend of sports games, friendly competition, and endless fun! Each day will have two parts- first, we will play a different sport (soccer, volleyball, basketball, kickball) and then we will have choice time filled with board games, crafts, art projects, and more! On Friday, we will have a water day! You don’t want to miss it!

This camp is for rising first through rising fifth graders.

Please select one of these camp options from the ticket level section:

July 15 - 19 from 8:30am-12pm, 

or

July 15 - 19 from 12:30pm-4pm

To add-on additional camps for other sessions: Click the 'More Events' button at the bottom of the cart checkout page. Click into the next camp you want to add-on and select the quantity of campers. Proceed to checkout and confirm the correct camps are selected before entering your payment information.

NOTE: All parents must fill out parent and emergency contact information. If you register for multiple camps you will need to fill out this information more than once. For a cleaner checkout experience, it's recommended to place a separate order for additional camps.
